Two Carriages, One Funeral

A forced bride fights to survive a rigged wedding journey.

Seven days after the divorce decree, the protagonist watches her former husband marry her sister amid public celebration. At the same moment, her own relatives seize her, bind and gag her, and load her into a second carriage destined for a suitor she has already rejected. The two processions roll out together under the same sky, yet the fanfare surrounding one bride masks the lethal danger facing the other.
