Her Rich Dream Shatters

The engagement implodes as the matriarch witnesses the brutality firsthand.

Leaving a hospital with her granddaughter, the family matriarch crosses paths with the woman engaged to her son. That fiancée, drowning in her ex-husband's debts, intends to charm her way into the household. Instead, failing to recognize the pair, she hurls insults and strikes them. The grandmother's status and the girl's lineage turn the outburst into a fatal error, and the marriage plan disintegrates before it can begin.
