The Neglected Wife

Sharon rebuilds with Gael while Ryan loses everything.

A routine drive to a prenatal appointment shatters Sharon Hughes's marriage when her car strikes Joyna Roy, revealing the woman as husband Ryan Young's mistress. Ryan instantly sides with Joyna, and Sharon learns her closest friend Ava Hayes concealed the affair for months. Joyna then fabricates evidence that Sharon endangered a child, giving Ryan a pretext to unleash calculated cruelty that drives Sharon to miscarry their baby. She divorces him and accepts a position at rival Gael Wood's company, where she begins to heal. Ryan realizes his mistake too late and fights to reclaim her, but Sharon refuses. Meanwhile Joyna, having lost her own child, blames Sharon and hires a killer, only to be arrested and sentenced to death. Ryan's obsession ruins his business, while Sharon finds lasting love with Gael, marrying him and welcoming a daughter.
