The Daughter They Never Chose

Claire leaves her family behind and starts over in Switzerland.

Claire endures two decades of watching her twin Chloe claim the sole dowry, steal her intended wedding dress, and drain her bank account while their parents treat a genuine seafood allergy as a fabrication. The night before their joint ceremony, Claire stops waiting for recognition, quietly completes her marriage ahead of schedule, and boards a flight alone. Only in her absence does the family locate forgotten medical proof confirming the allergy, realizing the daughter they labeled obedient has vanished for good.
