Son of Odin

Gods recall the demigod; his wife realizes his worth as he ascends.

For five years an immortal son of Odin wears the mask of a useless spouse, swallowing daily contempt from his noble wife and her sneering kin. In silence he dismantles every assassin and rival that circles their household, honoring an ancient debt. The arrangement shatters when celestial envoys arrive to haul him back to Asgard. Only then does his arrogant partner grasp the magnitude of his hidden power and the depth of his sacrifice, but the revelation comes as he rises beyond her reach.
