My Husband Stole My Kidney for His Mistress’s Mother

Board the full series

Sloane faces death or divorce as Reid's deception unravels.

Transplant center director Reid Carter presents a public hero's face while privately orchestrating a cruel theft on Christmas Eve. He diverts the kidney perfectly matched for his terminally ill wife Sloane, implanting it instead into the mother of his mistress. The mistress then phones Sloane to express gratitude for a voluntary donation that never happened. When Sloane confronts her husband with exposure, he responds with a blow to her face and walks out, leaving her alone in a medical emergency with a cold command to keep waiting. The betrayal deepens when Sloane uncovers the organ's true origin: it was harvested from her own deceased mother. Armed with this knowledge, she imposes a nine-day ultimatum on their marriage — at the end, Reid will receive either divorce papers or news of her death.
