My Husband Cut His Mom's Lifeline

Ronan discovers his blockade killed his mother, not Genesis's.

From the ambulance, Genesis watches Ronan position his car to halt the emergency vehicle, smug in the belief that her mother is the one fighting for life. He refuses to move, effectively severing the lifeline. Days later, the dynamic shatters at the graveside service. As the casket lowers, Ronan realizes the deceased is his own mother, not Genesis's, turning his calculated cruelty into a devastating, irreversible error.
