Manchild: Cut the Cord

From helpless dependent to self-made mechanic.

Jack weighs 350 pounds at twenty-nine and has never paid a bill, draining his parents' credit line to fund a camgirl obsession. When his father collapses, Jack refuses to ride along to the emergency room. His mother responds by selling the family home, handing him five hundred dollars and a single key, then ending all contact. Penniless and isolated, Jack drifts into Hank's auto shop, where he starts at the bottom and begins forging a new life through brutal manual labor.
