He Saved Her Cat While I Drowned

Two wives lose babies and husbands to a shared obsession.

Emma and Olivia toast their anniversary with the Parker brothers, a fire captain and an OB-GYN, until Madison Blake shoves seven-months-pregnant Emma from a pier into freezing water. Emma begs her husband for rescue; he dismisses her as jealous while cradling Madison's cat. Olivia pleads with her doctor spouse to save their baby; he refuses, tending the same animal. Both women lose their children that night and file for divorce by morning. The brothers deny the truth until security footage leaves them no escape, but the papers are already signed.
