Devoted Hearts United 2

Lyla tracks the one authority who commanded the purge.

Ancient houses that engineered the Vito purge launch simultaneous strikes across banking, the throne, the criminal underground and the contested wolf border to bury every witness. Lyla discovers her vanished mother Mara had been chasing the identical conspiracy before she disappeared. Adopting that unfinished hunt, Lyla assembles a team and weaponizes court filings, survivor testimony and a recovered ledger to trace the chain of command toward the single figure who actually gave the order.
