Your Swap System, My Revenge Game

Thea makes Delilah's own magic the instrument of her undoing.

Brilliant mage Thea loses everything when Delilah exploits a mystical exchange device to frame and execute her. Death only pauses the story; Thea revives with every spell and memory intact. Working unseen, she reassigns the artifact's tether so its recoil strikes Delilah alone. Then Thea coaxes her betrayer into increasingly reckless activations, each one cinching a magical coil tighter around the traitor. Thea watches as Delilah's hunger for stolen power becomes the engine of her own collapse.
