Wolf Queen：The True and Fake Luna

Elara reclaims her voice and bloodright.

Thirteen-year-old Elara Thorne bled on the Moonstone Altar and watched the stone stay black, branding her wolf-less while Sable Vance's hidden wolfsbane ensured the true response never came. Alpha Alaric installed his bastard Sera as heir that same night, and Selene Thorne plunged from North Cliff after finding the poison residue. Six months later, eleven-year-old Sera torched the granary, scarring Elara's throat so she could never howl — the sound that marks identity and shift. Without a howl, Elara stays indoors every full moon while the pack runs free. Selene left the North Ridge hunting grounds to her daughter, but Alaric has administered the estate for twelve years, funneling proceeds into Sable's accounts. Kade Ashford entered Crescent Hollow as a guard to repay a childhood debt to the girl in a white moon cloak who saved him from wildfire; he marked Sera believing she wore that cloak, though Sera stole it from Elara's keepsake chest. When Elara chose her personal guard, she recognized her mother's moonstone pendant on Kade's collar — the pendant she gave away at five. Rowan Blackwood, Alpha of a neighboring pack, fakes a silver injury to avoid arranged marriages and openly seeks Selene Thorne's daughter as his bride.
