Guardian risks final life to free framed deputy

Three millennia of service end when High Priestess Flora, deceived by Abyss agent Chris, revokes Lionel's God of War status and exhausts the sacred covenant granting him one hundred lives. Chris then engineers the death of an Abyss envoy and pins the crime on Ike, Lionel's steadfast deputy. Flora orders the execution, leaving Lionel powerless and the temple hierarchy turned against him. He now moves against former allies to pull Ike from the headsman's block before the last chance evaporates.
